How to play Kerslide
Kerslide is a block puzzle on an 8×8 board with one twist: every line you clear moves the rest of the board. This page covers the rules in the order you will meet them.

The goal
Place pieces on the board for as long as you can. The game ends when none of the pieces you are holding fits anywhere. There is no timer and no lives, so take as long as you like to decide each move.
1. Place pieces
You always hold a hand of three pieces. Drag one onto the board (touch, mouse or keyboard). Pieces never rotate, so the shape you see is the shape you place. Once all three are used, a new hand arrives.

2. Fill a row or a column to clear it
When every cell of a row (or a column) is filled, that line clears and its blocks disappear.
3. Then the whole board shifts
This is what makes Kerslide different:
- Clear a row and every remaining block slides one step right.
- Clear a column and every remaining block slides one step down.
- Blocks pushed past the edge of the board are gone.
A shift can open space, but it can also break up a line you were building. Before you drop a piece, the board previews which lines will clear and which way everything will move, so you can see the result first.

Scoring basics
Points come from two places:
- 1 point for every block you place.
- 100 points for every line you clear. Clearing several lines with one piece multiplies that: the line points count 150% for two lines, 200% for three, 250% for four and 300% for five or more.
- Combos: clearing on consecutive placements raises the multiplier by 50% per extra clear, up to 400%. A combo survives two placements in a row that clear nothing.
Your best score is saved on your device. There is also a Daily Challenge that starts every player from the same position, with a streak counter, and a Levels mode with gem puzzles.
